Surveyed U.S. dental schools to determine the incidence and prevalence of students with learning disabilities. Found a mean cumulative incidence of diagnosed cases of 0.3 percent and a mean prevalence of 0.7 percent. There was a weak positive correlation between mean prevalence and year, suggesting an increase in identified cases of learning disabilities over the past 7 years. (EV)
