Jolivette, Kristine; Stichter, Janine Peck; Sibilsky, Sara; Scott, Terrance M.; Ridgley, Robyn
Education and Treatment of Children, v25 n4 p396-414 Nov 2002
A study involving 14 preschool children (7 with disabilities) found that the children with disabilities were provided with more choices than the children without disabilities. Children both with and without disabilities, however, initiated choice making opportunities at the same rate. Female children were provided with more opportunities to make choices than males.
