This article offers a greater understanding of conservative thinking through a qualitative study that explored the common themes and perceptions of various conservative representatives toward public education. The contents and results indicate a high distrust of public education, increased parental involvement in the educational process, more efficient use of fiscal resources, and greater choice in schools.
