The Impact of Graduate Education on Reading for Lifelong Learning.

A survey of 47 nursing graduate students and 99 master's graduates. found that time spent reading professional literature weekly was nearly 11 hours for students, 6 hours for alumni, with no differences in reading interest or application. Students had higher commitment to reading; alumni had significantly more journal subscriptions, professional memberships, and consistent reading activities. (Contains 26 references.) (SK)
