The Impact of Looping Classroom Environments on Parental Attitudes.
Nichols, Joe D.; Nichols, Get W.
Preventing School Failure, v47 n1 p18-25 Fall 2002
This study compared attitudes of 455 parents of children in either looping (with teachers who stay with a group of students for multiple years) or nonlooping settings. Looping parent responses were significantly more positive on such variables as student motivation and parent/student attitudes toward school. Low income and single parent families were especially positive toward the looping experience. (Contains references.) (DB)
