Fermanich, Mark L.
Elementary School Journal, v103 n1 p27-50 Sep 2002
A cross-case analysis was conducted of professional development spending in seven elementary schools in the Cincinnati Public School District. Findings indicated that schools spent an average of $7,700 per teacher for professional development activities, ranging from $2,900 to more than $16,000 per teacher. Professional development spending varied according to school performance, availability of discretionary school funds, and staff preferences. (Author/KB)
