Male, Dawn B.
Journal of Research in Special Educational Needs, v2 n3 p1-14 Nov 2002
This study examined peer relationships and friendships using sociometric techniques with a class of seven adolescents attending a special day school in Britain for students with severe learning difficulties. Results indicated that social choices made were stable and valid and based on similar criteria of acceptability to mainstream choices. Most students provided rational justifications for their choices. (Contains references.) (DB)
