Examined development and implementation of a preservice teacher education model preparing educators for inclusive teaching that involved self-appraisal of knowledge and experience with disabilities, adapting lessons/experiences for children with disabilities, and allying special and regular educators in collaborative curriculum meetings. Found that students exposed to this model had improved attitudes toward teaching children with disabilities. Difficulties related to providing opportunities for collaborative meetings between special and regular education students. (Author/KB)
