Exploring the Satisfaction of Part-Time College Faculty in the United States.

Used nationally representative data to provide a comprehensive comparative picture of the satisfaction between full- and part-time faculty members (both tenure-track and non-tenure-track) within and across U.S. 2-year and 4-year post-secondary institutions. Found a different picture than that proposed by popular accounts of part-time faculty, concluding that they seem fairly satisfied with their roles. (EV)
