Examines the validity of the Idaho Foundation Standards for School Administrators, an adaptation of the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium, as the basis of Idaho administrator preparation. Data from building administrators, superintendents, and administrative interns reveal that counseling skills, training in change strategies, and special-education law are areas of need not included in the standards.
