Examines the prevalence of Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), reviews various models of treatment, and presents an integrated family systems strength-based model. The model's parts have proven track records of producing positive outcomes with ODD children and their families, and it is postulated that the effect of placing these parts together will increase positive outcome with this population.
