Developing technology education curricula based on the Standards for Technology Literacy involves a three-stage backward design process: (1) identifying desired results (what students should know, understand, and be able to do); (2) determining acceptable evidence for these outcomes; and (3) planning learning experiences and instruction to achieve them.
