Stockdale, Margaret S.; Hangaduambo, Saidou; Duys, David; Larson, Karl; Sarvela, Paul D.
American Journal of Health Behavior, v26 n4 p266-77 Jul-Aug 2002
Surveyed rural 4th-6th grade students, parents, and teachers regarding the prevalence and correlates of bullying. Results indicated that bullying was prevalent and indicative of aggression and pro-violence attitudes. Students reported higher prevalence of bullying than did parents or teachers. Their reports were associated with aggression, attitudes toward violence, and perceptions of school safety. (SM)
