Examines art education practices using interpretations of curriculum integration positions from the field of education. Analyzes four art education paradigms for using the arts: (1) for resources in other disciplines; (2) to enlarge organizing centers; (3) to interpret subjects, ideas, or themes; and (4) to understand life-centered issues through educational experiences.
