Rosemarin, Shoshana
Gifted Education International, v16 n2 p179-91 2002
American (n=47) and Israeli (n=66) teachers gave their opinions on aspects of gifted education. The Israeli group stressed cognitive abilities, the power of heredity, and the competence of regular teachers. Americans stressed hard work and believed more in the modifiability of human characteristics. Overall, Israeli teachers were more concerned with the class and Americans with the individual.
