Journal of Rural Health, v18 n3 p384-87 Sum 2002
A curricular component for physical therapy students in a University of Nevada program was designed to increase interest in rural practice. Twelve students were surveyed after participating in a rural health workshop and 5-week rural clinical affiliation. Clinical experience had the greatest influence on student attitudes, with all 12 reporting positive impressions of rural practice after clinical affiliation. (TD)
