Correlates of College Students' Use of Instructors' Comments.
Wiltse, Eric M.
Journalism and Mass Communication Educator, v57 n2 p126-38 Sum 2002
Explores correlates of college writing students' use of instructor comments. Considers interrelationships among writing apprehension, writing outcomes expectations, writing self-efficacy beliefs, and students' use of global and local feedback from instructors when students revise first drafts of news stories. Finds that writing apprehension, the only significant predictor variable, accounted for only 7% of the variability of student use of feedback. (SG)
