Institutional Characteristics and Preconditions for International Business Education--An Empirical Investigation.
Trevino, Len J.; Melton, Michael
Journal of Education for Business, v77 n4 p230-35 Mar-Apr 2002
Analysis of institutional characteristics of 258 university and 190 college business schools yielded 7 factors related to likelihood of a curricular emphasis on international business: older institutions, higher tuition, lower student/faculty ratios, smaller class sizes, greater proximity to a foreign country, urban setting, and study-abroad programs that were not used as substitutes for international business.
