In Canada, the number of minority ethnic groups is rising. In schools, especially urban schools, the student population is increasing diversified, both culturally and linguistically. However, the numbers of minority teachers and preservice teachers remain very limited. This study examines the specific needs of minority education students who aim to teach in a Franco-Ontarian environment. (Author/TD)
