Examines whether Asian American-White American differences on a trait measure of social anxiety extend to nonverbal behavior and to reports of anxiety-related emotions during a social performance task. Results indicated that Asian American reported more anxiety but that they did not differ substantially on behavioral indexes of social anxiety. (Contains 37 references and 3 tables.) (GCP)
