Development of a Measure for Predicting Learning Advancement through Cooperative Education: Reliability and Validity of the PLACE Scale.

Exploratory factor analysis of data from 2,309 cooperative education students tested a measure of co-op outcomes. Three factors were identified: work skills development, career development, and academic functions. The Predicting Learner Advancement through Cooperative Education Scale appeared to have good psychometric properties. (Contains 27 references.) (SK)
