Studied the impact of school mapping in the development of education in Tanzania. Data from a variety of sources (interviews, questionnaires, focus group discussion, and document analysis) show that school mapping had various positive impacts on the development of education in terms of increased enrollment and attendance, decreased dropping out, improved bases for decision making, and enhanced planning capacities.
