Explored methods of helping Indian teachers articulate their concerns, experiences, and personal practical knowledge, surveying and interviewing teachers regarding their workplace and teaching experiences and critical incidents in their lives and examining their beliefs about students, colleagues, subject matter knowledge, and context. Overall, teachers were going beyond requirements of the training program to identify problems and seek solutions. (SM)
