The Constitutionality of Racial Classifications in Public School Admissions.
Brown, Kevin
Hofstra Law Review, v29 n1 p1-80 Fall 2000
Revisits the Supreme Court's school desegregation jurisprudence, examining the typical analysis applied to this issue by recent lower federal court decisions. Discusses Supreme Court cases applying constitutional provisions to the public education context, suggesting that the constitutional analysis of the use of racial classifications to further integrated student bodies should consider the special environments of public schools.
