The Relationship between Undergraduate Students' Perceived Past Academic Success and Perceived Academic Self-Concept.
Schlosser, Lewis Z.; Sedlacek, William E.
Journal of the First-Year Experience & Students in Transition, v13 n2 p95-105 Fall 2001
Assessed how different levels of previous academic success related to varying outcomes, such as desire to pursue postgraduate education, higher career aspirations, and factors related to leaving school prematurely. Found that students who have been successful in the past are more likely to have more positive perceptions of their academic self-concept. (EV)
