A survey of 13 American Council of Construction Education accredited university programs found that all respondents had an industry advisory council (IAC) as required; most considered IACs to be a burden without commensurate benefit. The few programs that have sought IAC support have added significant value. Others seem reluctant to develop strong links with industry. (SK)
