Adherence to Physical Activity from Childhood to Adulthood: A Perspective from Tracking Studies.
Malina, Robert M.
Quest, v53 n3 p346-55 Aug 2001
Considers the tracking of physical activity during childhood, adolescence, and adulthood in the context of adherence. Data generally show moderate tracking of physical activity during childhood and adolescence and more variable but lower tracking levels across longer intervals within adolescence and from adolescence into young adulthood. Various factors influence physical activity. Tracking studies do not include these correlates or covariates. (SM)
