AsiaPacific MediaEducator, n8 p82-98 Jan-Jun 2000
Notes that the Cambodian news media expanded to unprecedented levels in the early 1990s, but few professionals had experience in a free press. Suggests that the many short courses set up by foreign governments and international organizations no longer seem adequate. Discusses the educating and training of journalists in the last decade. Examines some of the considerations for its future development. (RS)
