The Perceptions of Science Classes Survey: What Undergraduate Science Reform Efforts Really Need To Address.
Kardash, CarolAnne M.; Wallace, Michael L.
Journal of Educational Psychology, v93 n1 p199-210 Mar 2001
Presents findings from a survey that assessed 922 undergraduates' perceptions of undergraduate science classes. Correlational analyses and evidence from distinct groups supported the survey's construct validity. Students reported room for improvement of the science faculty's pedagogical practices. Results indicate that how information is taught is as important to students as what information is taught. (Contains 29 references and 4 tables.) (GCP)
