Evaluation of two Web-based graduate nursing courses resulted in guidelines for future course planning: a learner-centered rather than technology-driven approach; interdisciplinary team teaching; selection of an appropriate course authoring system; minimal use of graphics; precourse orientation, including computer skill development; and structured opportunities for interaction.
