Analysis of the Use of Learning Resources and Self-Directed Learning by Secondary Pennsylvania Business Educators.
Bartlett, James E., II; Kotrlik, Joe W.
Delta Pi Epsilon Journal, v43 n3 p123-36 Sum 2001
Pennsylvania high school business teachers (n=259) used the following resources most often for self-directed learning: preparation for teaching, experimentation, reading, informal discussion, and formal courses/workshops. Resources accounting for a significant proportion of variance included preparation for teaching, experimentation, electronic media, and consultation. Attitudes toward teaching and help-seeking behavior were significantly related to resource use. (Contains 16 references.) (SK)
