Examined the effectiveness of a university course in preparing preservice teachers to teach school health. Education majors enrolled in "Drug and Health Issues for Educators" completed pretest/posttest questionnaires. The course appeared to influence respondents' valuing of school health education, intention to include and confidence in including health in their teaching, and ability to provide information on personal health issues.
