Georgia seventh and eighth graders in agricultural education (n=445) displayed a higher need for achievement than affiliation or power. There were no differences between Future Farmers of America members and nonmembers. Females had higher affiliation and power needs than males; African Americans had higher achievement and power needs than other ethnic groups. (Contains 19 references.) (SK)
