Fulfilling the Promise of Early Intervention: Rates of Delivered IFSP Services.
Perry, Deborah F.; Greer, Maureen; Goldhammer, Karleen; Mackey-Andrews, Susan D.
Journal of Early Intervention, v24 n2 p90-102 Spr 2001
Analyses of data from over 6,000 Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) in Indiana revealed that on average half the service hours on IFSPs were actually delivered to children and families. Most commonly delivered early intervention services were special instruction and occupational, physical, and speech therapy. Rates of delivered services were related to child's current age, referral age, and time enrolled. (Contains six references.) (Author/DB)
