This study compared the cognitive styles used by 66 pupils (ages 9- 13) with dyslexia in special schools and 66 students in mainstream schools in three countries, the Netherlands, Ireland, and England. Significant differences were found between students with and without dyslexia and between students in different countries. Further differences were found following a six-month intervention period.
