Interviews with correctional educators in Education Programs in Corrections were conducted using a leadership model of five practices: enabling, challenging, encouraging, modeling, and inspiring. Although instructors do not see themselves as leaders, they incorporate all five practices to expose their inmate students to a variety of learning perspectives. (Contains 27 references.) (SK)
