Examined whether computer conferencing without tutor moderation could be successfully implemented between preservice teachers from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, considering the extent to which it raised participants' confidence in information and communication technology, raised awareness of different educational systems, encouraged reflective teaching, and provided emotional support during student teaching.
