Discusses the integrational approach to languages and linguistics, which claims that language is radically indeterminate with regard to what is meant and what is said. One aim of the approach is to encourage an analytic reflection of one's own linguistic experience, and therefore the individual linguistic utterance, not the language or dialect, is taken as a starting point.
