Identifying Risk Factors for Disrupted Family Reunifications Following Short-Term Shelter Care.
Teare, John F.; Becker-Wilson, Christina Y.; Larzelere, Robert E.
Journal of Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, v9 n2 p116-22 Sum 2001
A study investigated whether youth (n=99) discharged from a short-term residential facility and reunited with their parents had a subsequent placement. The number of self-reported personal problems at intake significantly predicted a shorter time to subsequent placement disruption. The number of prior formal placements also tended to predict future placements. (Contains references.) (Author/CR)
