Assesses the extent to which each of the articles in this special issue relates theory to methods and analysis. Identifies limitations in each article, usually because methods or analyses do not seem well suited to the theory of choice, but also finds great strengths in each article in furthering the understanding of the complexity of relationships between peer collaboration and cognitive development.
