"Testing...Testing...This Doesn't Seem To Be Working."
Prystowsky, Richard J.
Paths of Learning: Options for Families & Communities, n8 p55-57 Spr 2001
The problem with standardized testing is that it is standardized. Different learners learn differently, different teachers teach differently, and different teacher-learner combinations work differently at different times and in different ways. Standardized tests must be abandoned in favor of methods of creative evaluation that address the needs of teachers and students. (Contains 14 resources.) (TD)
