Review of feminist influences on adult education makes comparisons with antiracist education and recognition of different ways of knowing. Discusses how ethnic groups and women have developed cultures of resistance and identifies characteristics associated with them: the personal, emotional intelligence, wholeness, networks, values, biculturalism, and survival skills.
