Student Learning Processes in Field Education: Relationship of Learning Activities to Quality of Field Instruction, Satisfaction, and Performance among MSW Students.
Fortune, Anne E.; McCarthy, Mary; Abramson, Julie S.
Journal of Social Work Education, v37 n1 p111-24 Win 2001
Sixty-four master's of social work (MSW) students reported on observational-participatory and conceptual linkage learning activities used in their first- and second-year field placements. Greater use of some activities was associated with student satisfaction and perception of quality but not with field instructors' ratings of student performance. (EV)
