Technology has profoundly altered the economics profession. The use of statistical models and simulations has changed economics curricula and teaching methods in higher education, and these changes are moving into pre-college economics curricula. Recommends a different kind of economics instruction for pre-college economics teachers, including the content to be addressed and the technology to be applied. (SM)
