Reports that a large number of international schools run the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IBMYP) and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) concurrently, despite questions about their compatibility. States that, with IBMYP models, teachers are better able to help students find their niche by placing the learner and the learning process at the heart of curriculum; with IGCSE, this ability is decreased.
