Evaluated the Integrated Bridging Programme (IBP) of the University of Adelaide, South Australia, which offers international postgraduates the opportunity to develop languages and skills for successful acculturation. Responses of all IBP participants for 2 years and of supervising staff show the importance of recognizing that it is not only the newly recruited students who need to evaluate their own academic goals and practices.
