An Inter-Regional Study of American Students' Attitudes toward International Business Courses and Careers.
Robbins, John E.; Abramson, Joe; Hollingshead, Craig A.
Journal of Teaching in International Business, v11 n4 p39-54 2000
Compared regional differences in student interest in: (1) taking international business courses; (2) pursuing long-term; and (3) short-term career opportunities abroad. Also compared regional differences in variables correlated with such interest, including academic maturity, degree of international travel, number of languages spoken, and previous work experience with international companies. Found western students were higher in all variables. (EV)
