In 1948, the Palestinians were targeted and manipulated to strengthen and sustain the dominant Israeli power and reproduce white Israeli values. The education system promulgated this strategy. Only 5 percent of Palestinians in Israel attend college, since they are ineligible for state financial help. (MLH)
