Surveyed students at the U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, Reserve Officer Training Corp, and a civilian university about attitudes toward gender roles and authoritarianism. Military students had the most traditional authoritarian beliefs and gender role attitudes, with Naval Academy males holding the most traditional attitudes toward women compared to Naval Academy females and civilian females and males.
