A program promoting college attendance and lifelong learning targeted schools in blue-collar Dayton (Ohio) neighborhoods whose residents were rural Appalachian migrants with low educational attainment and socioeconomic status. Program features included high school students mentoring elementary students, field trips to Sinclair Community College (SCC), and an SCC course in college study skills for students and adults. (SV)
